Arrival Day on the Liguria coast and welcome to the Giro d’Italia 2015 and the start of your dream bike tour. Amazing panoramic views await you with a relaxing bike ride along the winding coast of Italy. We are truly on the Italian Riviera with an ideal place to take a break amongst the cafes and palms of this coastal playground of the rich and famous.

With the excitement building for the opening stage of the Giro d’Italia 2015 tomorrow. We have our own historic ride route on the mythical roads of the Italian classic race Milan – Sanremo with the climbs of La Cipressa (239m, 5.6km, 4.1%) and Poggio (160m, 3.7km, 3.7%) available to you along with some of the best views in the world, so many dreams all on one ride.
Be amazed by the man-made terraces and savour these hill top villages made famous by the bicycle, whilst relaxing like a true Italian at the café.
After the perfect ride, reward yourself by spending the afternoon relaxing with a leisurely lunch by the sea or Wine Tasting deep in the hills of Liguria. This evening the Giro d’Italia stars of the Peloton will be presented for the world to see before they embark on three challenging weeks of bike racing around Italy.

Here it is! The Giro 2015 live from the roadside, a first time opportunity to see the best professional cycling teams in the world racing in tight formation at maximum speed with a Team Time Trial (TTT) along the Riviera dei Fiori cycle path. This historic stage gives you a very special and unique view of all the stars of cycling as they pass you at regular intervals at this amazing day at the Giro d’Italia!
This morning we have a great choice of bike routes available as we explore the roads around Imperia. With coastal villages and glitz towns on offer or for more of a challenge with a winding road into the Liguria hillside and the Valli di Diano.

After yesterday’s opening Giro d’Italia stage full of speed and precision of the Team Time Trial, today the professional riders stretch their legs with 173km of winding spectacular coastal roads of the Mediterranean. With two relatively small hills on route at the start and finish of the stage this will give a golden opportunity for an early break away to attempt stage victory in Genova.
We will feel like pro’s ourselves as the bike wheels turn easier than normal on the smooth bitumen of the coastal roads in this region of Italy, ‘streets aren’t measured by kilometres, but by emotions’… perfect for cycling!
Let your imagination get the better of you as we turn away from the coast and enjoy the slopes of the Colle Testico the first climb of this years Giro before relaxing over a leisurely lunch the Italian way!

Today will be the ideal time for a REST DAY and leave the work to the Professional Peloton as we transfer by vehicle to catch up with the Giro stage in the National Park Region of Portofino. This may only be stage 3 although this testing route will force the Giro d’Italia contenders to have good legs as they spend the stage climbing and descending before they return to the coast at the stage finish in Sestri Lavante.
Enjoy the razzmatazz of the Giro d’Italia Stage start witness all the flash and glitz of a fashion parade at the departure of one of the biggest bike races in the world! Look out for your favourite teams and cycling stars in a relaxed mood before they sign-on for work at the podium and it’s also a great opportunity for you to get that special memento picture of the Pink of the Giro 2015!

With the Giro d’Italia Grupetto heading to the South of Italy we have one last ride opportunity together with the spectacular blue Mediterranean Sea as our back drop. Our choice ride route today heads west along the coast towards the frontier with France before turning inland and the unforgettable charm of Dolceacqua. This region is known for its terraces formed over many years and a distinction of the hard work necessary to utilise this unique landscape with olive and wine production. After a great week of riding and the excitement of the Giro d’Italia 2015, what could be a more fitting location than this!
