See for yourself the ‘real Portugal’ in the Algarvian village of OdiĂĄxere itâs our first ride destination this morning; a good opportunity for a ‘nata & bica’. âWhere are you guys fromâ we are asked as we mingle amongst the locals in their quaint, square in the middle of nowhereâŠ
The Beach is calling us, we are coming (or pedalling) the winds pick up as we pass by the giant wind turbines only adding to the contrast of the natural Algarve.
With the sun brightening, just over the crest is the Moorish town of Aljezur with its small castle â âcastelloâ perched on the hill top we can almost smell the Atlantic Ocean now, with one final effort the legs might be wishing to stop we are greeted with WOW!
