***The race took place between 12 and 16 August 2020 in France, having originally been scheduled for 31 May to 7 June, and then postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France.***

Thursday June 4th – View the Criterium du Dauphine Stage 5 Vienne > Col de Porte (Alps Finish)
Ride Option:
Distance 55 â 95km / 59mi Ascent 600 – 1700m / 5500ft route Grenoble
Inclusions: Breakfast, Grenoble Restaurant Lunch

Today the Criterium Dauphine 2020 hots up with four consecutive superb mountain stages, its amazing cycling terrain and you will experience the very best riding and race viewing with this unique event, with new routes and climbs on offer in a format that will surprise the best professionals in the world on the roads of the Rhone-Alps this June.
We start our own ride adventures in the Parc Naturel Regional de la Chartreuse, this wilderness park is based on the Chartreuse Mountains between the two key towns of Chambery and Grenoble. Weâll ease our legs into this yearâs Dauphine with these fantastic roads and if youâre as fired up as the professional cyclists then hit the slopes of the Col de Porte (1331m 17.5km @ 6%). This will be the first real test for the stars looking to win this yearâs yellow jersey!

Friday June 5th – View the Criterium du Dauphine Stage 6 Corenc > Saint-Martin-de-Belleville (Alps Finish)
Ride Option:
Distance 45 – 90km / 55mi Ascent 400 â 1420m / 4600ft route St Martin de Belleville (1360m)

When the organisation was planning the 2020 Criterium Dauphine route it was certainly all about the climbers. Itâs therefore no coincidence that with no Time Trials in this yearâs event itâs giving the peloton a feel for what is waiting for them in July at the Tour de France. Todayâs stage allows the riders to get familiar with one of these TDF stages in the Three Valleys Ski area.
Every day the action promises to get more exciting as we head to the live race action cycling by mountain monuments in every direction, some with famous names that you may have seen on TV and others just as awesome in their own unique way. Itâs not long before we are on the race route and enjoying our own challenge as we head to our âunique live viewing spotâ and all the finish line action from the roadside. With an endless choice of superb rides planned throughout your tour, enjoy the roads of the Dauphine on the slopes of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville (1419m 14.8km @ 6%).
Weâll have time to relax and reward ourselves with marvelous lunch together before the world stars of cycling arrive at their maximum limits in the French Alps.
Saturday June 6th – View the Criterium du Dauphine Stage 7 Ugine > Megeve (Alps)

Distance 40 â 100km / 62mi Ascent 1000 â 1600m / 5200ft route Grand Alps
Inclusions: Breakfast, Alpine Restaurant Lunch
Non-Cycling Guests: Share all the Dauphine spectacular action in the Grand Alps
The race organisation promised that this yearâs Criterium Dauphine was for the climbers with 7 Category climbs with stage 7 and 8 Category climbs on the final stage it will certainly test every muscle fibre to the limit for the winner of the 2020 Criterium du Dauphine.
Today totals 4700m of elevation for the professionals, full of classic alpine cols throughout the route in the Aravis Mountain Range. This is Practice Bicycle Tours backyard since 1998 and we canât wait to share these spectacular cycling roads with you. Weâll pick up the race route and enjoy this amazing scenery at the perfect pace, your pace. Today is our last superb ride opportunity together during your Dauphine bike tour and after yesterdayâs Alpine stage, we have one final adventure as we head deep into the Grand AlpsâŠit has to be experienced to be believed, if you still have your uphill pedalling legs!
Weâve seen all the sights of this yearâs Criterium Dauphine with the amazing climbers in the mountains, this morning enjoy the opportunity of a close up look at the weary warriors of the road at the final stage start. After 1325km of racing on new and testing roads the peloton has one final day of suffering, watch the teams as they prepare for their last effort to decide who will win the prestigious leaders jerseys at the 2020 Criterium Dauphine.
