Registering for a Practice Bicycle Tour is easy and secure.  To make a booking for one of our tours, complete our online registration form, including your preferred choice of payment. Your booking will be confirmed by email.

After receiving your registration and payment your place will be secured.  1-2 weeks prior to the commencement of your tour date further details including arrival information, hotel contact details, itinerary and check list will be emailed to you.

To reserve your cycling holiday we require a deposit of AUD $750.00 per person for each of our Bike Tours.

Cycling Day Tours require full non-refundable payment at time of Registration.

Your final payment is due 12 weeks prior to your tour commencement date.  If your tour starts in less than 12 weeks, then full payment is due with your registration.

Your deposit and final payment can be made using EFT / Direct Bank Transfer.
Alternatively full payment can be made at time of registration by PayPal or Credit Card secure online payment facility.
(PayPal or Credit Card website payment options can only accept full payment at time of registration with no additional processing fees).
Should you wish to pay the balance by PayPal or Credit Card a 2.6% processing fee + AUD $100.00 admin fee will apply.

All prices are advertised in Australian Dollars (AUD $) based on per person/twin share.

Single persons will be required to select the additional charge of single room supplement.


We look forward to riding together but if for any reason you have to cancel your tour (including medical emergencies) please notify us by email and your cancellation fee will be based on the cancellation schedule below,

8 + weeks prior loss of total deposit
4 – 8 weeks 50% of tour price
0 – 4 weeks 100% of tour price reserves the right to cancel your tour for any reason. On this occasion we will refund to you all payments received to date, should we not be able to offer you an alternative tour. This refund will be the full extent of entire liability to you with respect to the cancelled tour. We will not be responsible for any other costs or expenses you incurred in relation to the tour including airfares or other related expenses associated with the tour.
We will inform you at least 8 weeks before the tour date if your tour is to be cancelled.


Personal Travel Insurance is compulsory for all participants; you are required to take adequate travel insurance covering tour cancellation, accident, personal injury and loss of luggage.


Practicebicycle advertises tour prices as much as a year in advance; we are occasionally faced with significant cost increases such as currency exchange rates or costs of services that we are unable to absorb. In the unlikely event of any increase in the price of your tour this price increase will be notified to you at least 8 weeks before your tour date.

LIABILITY are not liable for personal injury, death, damage to property or other loss whether arising from accident, cancellations, delays or any other matter beyond our control.


We strongly recommend a visit to your doctor to ascertain that you have good health and fitness to participate in your cycling holiday. It is a condition of your tour that an approved bicycle helmet must be worn while cycling and that you ride within your capabilities and behave in an appropriate manner at all times.
Practicebicycle encourages the use of a Heart Rate Monitor whilst cycling in order to fully enjoy and maintain correct and safe health benefits from your cycling holiday.


Even after your registration has been confirmed by email, practicebicycle reserves the right to alter or cancel the advertised tour for whatever reason and not limited to such circumstances as accommodation availability or low enrollment or any other circumstance beyond our control and undertake to inform participants as soon as possible.
